Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability and coordinating care with other departments. The role requires safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy standards.

Education from an accredited nursing program is required, along with an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state. Certification requirements may include ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, and more.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license required in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
