Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. The role requires professional accountability for patient care and coordination with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Education includes an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and current RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure. BLS is required, with advanced certifications as applicable to the unit.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure in the hiring state and meet state board requirements.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
