Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a dedicated new grad Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Bryan, TX. This med-pass focused role supports incarcerated patients and ensures safe medication administration in a secure setting.

You will coordinate medications, maintain carts, document accurately, supervise clinical staff as needed, and comply with facility policies and infection control standards. This is a contract position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing).
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to pass a strict background check.
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage pre-packaged medications for assigned patients.
• Distribute and administer medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Organize and maintain medication carts and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Complete all required medication documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with facility and state regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized medication area in accordance with facility standards.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
