Healthbridge Staffing is seeking an experienced Corporate Traveler – MDS Coordinator (RN) to support skilled nursing centers across the Indianapolis region. The role combines hands-on MDS work with reimbursement mentoring in a hybrid model, with travel required throughout the region.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, possess extensive MDS 3.0 and PDPM knowledge, and be skilled at leading teams and ensuring billing compliance across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Extensive knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, Medicare regulations, reimbursement compliance, case-mix management, and resident care planning.
• Previous experience as an MDS Coordinator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required.
• Experience mentoring, training, or supporting MDS teams strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to SNFs requiring MDS assessments and care planning.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, Medicare requirements, PDPM, and billing compliance.
• Mentor, train, and support new or transitioning MDS Coordinators.
• Collaborate with Regional Clinical Reimbursement leadership to assess facility needs and implement best practices.
• Work in a hybrid capacity with on-site visits based on needs.
• Assist facilities during staffing transitions, audits, surveys, and high census periods.
• Travel throughout the assigned region, including overnight stays when necessary.
