Job summary

• Completion of MDS Assessment training class required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN – California license required.
• BLS certification required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• The RN Minimum Data Set (MDS) Supervisor is responsible for accurate and timely completion and transmission of MDS assessments for all residents in the facility.
• Oversees MDS nurses/coordinators to ensure proper assessment and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Leads care plan meetings and collaborates with the DON and Director on audits, opportunities for care improvement and quality measures.
