Genesis in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a dedicated MDS Nurse -- RN to manage Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation to ensure appropriate reimbursement. Responsibilities include scheduling MDS assessments, concurrent reviews, and communicating case-mix data to the Business Office.

Requirements include RN licensure, at least one year in long-term care, and experience with MDS/rug/case management. The role offers comprehensive benefits and competitive salary.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• One year of long term care clinical nursing experience is required.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS completion, case management is desirable.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments and ensure timely submission.
• Perform concurrent MDS review to optimize RUGs and reimbursement.
• Communicate case-mix data required for billing to the Business Office.
• Serve as the nursing center resource for MDS/RUGs and case-mix education.
