Job summary

Good Samaritan – Woodland in Brainerd, MN, is seeking a qualified MDS Nurse. The RN will lead resident assessments, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality care for seniors in a 42-bed facility.

The role requires MN RN licensure, preferably with RAC-CT or supervisory experience, and includes a sign-on bonus if eligible. Full-time, day shifts, 32 hours weekly, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience with senior population preferred.
• Currently licensed RN in Minnesota (unencumbered).
• N RAC-CT certification/management experience preferred.
• Maintain CEU and competency training.
• Affiliation with a nursing professional organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and evaluation of resident care.
• Oversee RA I process and complete resident assessments.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct nursing care within scope and standards.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks as needed.
