Good Samaritan is seeking a part-time MDS Nurse at our Brainerd, MN location. The RN will oversee Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes, lead the nursing team, and ensure high-quality plan of care for residents.

The role emphasizes collaboration with residents, families and other professionals to optimize quality of life. Responsibilities include coordinating care, evaluating care plans, and ensuring compliance with Nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as licensed nurse with senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT certification, management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state and/or multistate licensure.
• Maintains required certifications and CEUs.

Responsabilités

• Lead nursing care planning and resident care assessment.
• Coordinate Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise licensed/unlicensed staff as needed.
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high quality care.

Connaissances

CEU/compliance training

Formation
