Job summary

Regency at Chene is seeking an MDS Nurse to oversee timely MDS/RAI completion and care planning for residents at the facility. The role requires ensuring accurate assessments reflect each resident’s clinical status and supporting individualized care planning.

The MDS Nurse will work to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Ideal candidates have MDS/RAI experience, leadership skills, and knowledge of PDPM, ICD-10 coding, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Prior MDS/RAI experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of RAI guidelines, PDPM, ICD-10 coding, Quality Measures, and CARE Assessments and Care Planning processes.
• Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, PPS and Case Mix systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in independent functioning and strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate and timely completion of the MDS/RAI, including CAAs and care planning.
• Ensure assessments reflect residents’ clinical status and support individualized care planning.
