Job summary

Complete Care at Meriden is hiring an MDS Coordinator to oversee timely resident assessments in a long-term care setting. The RN must supervise input of MDS data, transmit to the state, and validate receipts. You will schedule quarterly and annual care plan conferences and perform duties as directed by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Salary is negotiable with experience; full-time day shift in Meriden, CT. RN license active in CT is required; RAC-CT is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Case-Mix, Federal Medicare PPS process, and medical reimbursement required.
• Previous long-term care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide the completion of resident assessments in a timely manner.
• Involvement and supervision of inputting MDS assessments.
• Transmit MDS assessments to the state and obtain receipt of validation.
• Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.
