Job summary
Genesiscareers is seeking a RI-licensed Registered Nurse to oversee MDS/RAI processes and ensure accurate reimbursement for patient care in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess residents and develop individualized care plans.
The role requires prior MDS experience, knowledge of LTC regulations, and the ability to train staff on ADLs. This on-site position offers opportunities for growth within a supportive facility network in Rhode Island.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Rhode Island.
- Experience in hospital, long-term facility, or healthcare setting required.
- Prior experience completing MDS and Care Plans is required.
- Knowledge of LTC laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate reimbursement for patient care services as part of business objectives.
- Participate in Patient Assessment Process via MDS and CAAs.
- Develop individualized patient care plans and identify needs and outcomes.
- Contribute to the RAI process with MDS encoding and transmission.
- Identify changes in patient condition with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate assessments.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living training for staff and new hires.
- Attend educational programs on current RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.
