Regency Integrated Health Services in Brownsville, TX seeks an MDS Coordinator - RN to join the clinical leadership. You will ensure accurate MDS assessments, support ARD selections, and coordinate care planning with the interdisciplinary team to optimize reimbursement and resident outcomes.

The role requires Texas RN license, 2+ years skilled nursing, and familiarity with MDS 3.0, RAI guidelines, PPS. Training and ongoing updates provided; competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas in good standing.
• Must have completed an RN program at an accredited school.
• Minimum of two years of skilled nursing experience.
• MDS, RAI, Medicare/Medicaid, case-mix, care planning, or clinical reimbursement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI guidelines, PPS assessments, ARDs, care plans, and skilled nursing documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely MDS assessments per RAI guidelines.
• Coordinate Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation for appropriate reimbursement.
• Collaborate with Director of Rehab and interdisciplinary team on ARD selection and care planning.
• Track eligibility and documentation for Managed Care residents.
• Provide staff training on MDS/RAI process and regulatory updates.
