Qualifications

• Requires active RN license in Texas.
• Minimum 2+ years in skilled nursing with MDS/Care Plan experience.
• Strong knowledge of RAI/PPS processes and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MDS/Care plan schedule for the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate preparation of MDS and Care Plan per regulatory requirements.
• Track Medicare resident benefit days and validate census for accurate billing.
• Respond to information requests and appeals within established time frames.
• Prepare Medicare denial letters for residents discharged from Medicare coverage.
