Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Care Management Specialist to coordinate the RAI/MDS process in Richardson, TX. You will ensure accurate assessments, documentation, and compliance with Medicare/Medicaid requirements, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize resident care plans.

Responsibilities include managing ARD dates, case-mix documentation, and data audits, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN or LVN license.
• Position may be filled by LVN, but RN functions required by Federal Regulations.
• Minimum of two years health care experience; experience with MDS completion, reimbursement, clinical resource utilization and/or case management is desirable.
• Competency with standard office software and AIS/MDS/RAI processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the RAI process to ensure accurate and timely resident assessments per Medicare/Medicaid/OBRA requirements.
• Complete Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and manage care plans.
• Track MDS assessments and reference dates; perform audits and ensure data integrity.
• Submit all MDS data electronically and coordinate with regional and business office staff.
