Cone Health Medical Group is seeking an MDS Coordinator to collect and assess resident data in nursing facilities, ensuring accurate Resident Assessment Instrument processes and timely transmission. Under moderate supervision, the role collaborates with nursing and therapy staff to coordinate services, evaluates staff competencies, and supports continuous education and quality improvements.

Education: Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Licensure: NC RN or Compact license;

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse and 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates staff competencies to identify growth opportunities.
• Communicates with Aides through weekly meetings to address gaps in restorative programs.
