Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit. The role supports low‑risk deliveries with 37+ weeks gestation, focusing on continuity of care across patient stays.

The RN will work 6:45p-7a, three nights per week, with weekend and holiday requirements, and will engage in governance, documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains quality standards.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
