Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Department. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients, and collaborate with the care team to promote outcomes.

This is a Full Time, NIGHT Shift position with 12-hour shifts (approximately 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and rotating weekends/holidays. Benefits and professional development opportunities are provided to support your nursing career and patient care

Qualifications

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) is required within 6 months of transfer/hire.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for laboring moms and newborns.
Collaborate with the health care team to protect, promote and optimize health and ability, prevent illness and injury, and advocate in care.
Provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the patient age.
Contribute to nursing practice through Shared Governance, unit meetings, surveys, and idea sharing.
Consider safety, cost, and impact on practice in planning and delivering nursing services.
