Job summary

Advocate Health's Labor & Delivery unit at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is hiring a full-time RN for 36 hours per week. Shifts are 3 nights per week, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with holiday and weekend rotations.

The unit features 22 LDRs, 4 OB Observation Rooms, 4 OB Operating Rooms, 5 PACU rooms, and serves a high-volume perinatal population as a Magnet-designated facility. Applicants should hold an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
