Job summary

Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program seeks a Registered Nurse Manager to lead a respite interdisciplinary team and coordinate clinical operations for a superior patient experience. The role supervises staff, supports practice-based resources, and aligns patient care with program goals.

The position requires MA RN licensure, prior nursing leadership, and a focus on vulnerable populations. A $4,000 sign-on bonus applies; weekend coverage is required for a 36-hour week.

Qualifications

• Commonwealth of Massachusetts RN license and graduation from an approved nursing program.
• 3–5 years nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with underserved populations and strong independent decision making.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and support to respite nursing staff in collaboration with DON/ADON.
• Manage staffing changes and allocate resources to ensure patient care and operations.
• Evaluate staff performance and mentor new hires; ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Coordinate care across disciplines and departments to ensure timely access and outcomes.
• Utilize Epic and MatrixCare to monitor workflows and data for quality improvement.
