The RN Manager oversees scheduling, performance feedback, hiring, and staff development while ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of patient care within a Magnet-designated system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing.
• 3+ years of nursing leadership in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff scheduling, time-off approvals, and resource allocation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship for nursing staff.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
• Develop strategies to enhance team engagement and retention.
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource and address staff concerns.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
