Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring an RN Manager for the Acute Care Med-Surg or IMCU units. This full-time, dayshift role oversees staffing, evaluations, and onboarding, ensuring clinical quality 24/7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Virginia or compact multi-state RN license in good standing.
• At least 3 years of recent nursing leadership in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff scheduling, time-off approvals, and resource allocation to support department needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build an effective workforce.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance team engagement and retention, creating a positive work environment.
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices within the unit.
