Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit. This full-time day shift role requires caring for cardiac and telemetry patients, with a rotating weekend schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia (or eligible to practice)
• BSN degree preferred; ADN acceptable with experience
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• ACLS within 1 year of hire; NIH within 1 year (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Deliver patient education, assess and respond to changes in condition, coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Support Stroke and Cardiac unit protocols and line management as needed.
• Document accurately and maintain standards of professional performance.
