Description:The position is for an interim manager in a cardiac cath lab.The manager will be responsible for maintaining the schedule.The role involves overseeing the onboarding of new staff.Developing relationships with physicians is a key duty.The manager will handle operations and monitor productivity.The lab has two suites and typically performs 8 cases per day.ACLS and BLS certifications are required for candidates.The average call days, including weekends, is 12 and can range up to 18.Response time for call duty is 30 minutes.On holidays, call duties are rotating and assigned.Common cases include all cardiac invasive procedures, excluding structural heart procedures.Peripheral procedures may include carotid and A/V grafts, as well as EVAR.Candidates should not be involved in dirty procedures such as PEGs or G-tubes.Weekend call is required, minimally every other weekend.There is no required previous employment with any associated facilities within the past year.Floating to other units is not expected.There is a required floor-specific orientation which depends on skill level.
