Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Sioux Falls. The contract spans 13 weeks with 10-hour daytime shifts (varying start times).

Requires a minimum of 2 years cath lab experience, active RN license in the state, and BLS/ACLS certification. Graduation from an NLN or AACN accredited program is strongly preferred. On-call duties are included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures.
• Circulate in a sterile environment.
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 and participate in on-call duties as necessary.

RN - Cath Lab

Hours per Shift: Varying shifts (0530-1600, 0630-1700, 0730-1800)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a cath lab

License: Active RN license in the applicable state

Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience; graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program strongly preferred

Description:Responsible for administering and monitoring conscious sedation during procedures.Circulate in a sterile environment.Perform left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms.Familiarity with equipment utilized in the unit, including Pyxis, Philips monitoring system, Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, and Acist contrast injection system.Demonstrate necessary skills and experience as outlined.Work within departments that include 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 2 procedural rooms with an average of 30 patients per day.Maintain a nurse to patient ratio of 1:1.Undergo department-specific training as required.Participate in on-call duties as necessary, including 1-2 calls per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks with a 30-minute response time.Engage in a cancellation policy that allows for client cancellations within set parameters.
