Qualifications

• RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Strong communication, assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to organize workflows and collaborate with Care Teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement resident care plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments.
• Participate in shift reports for continuity of care.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Address staffing needs and arrange replacements when necessary.
