Job summary

Centene is seeking an experienced RN leader to direct long-term care management for members with health needs. You will lead a team of RN managers and drive value-based care initiatives within a state or national program.

You will oversee policy development, reporting, and quality improvements while maintaining compliance with NCQA and state requirements. Travel to Austin or Houston is expected, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• RN with leadership experience in managed care or government settings.
• Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience with data analysis, health informatics, and clinical reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and oversight of long-term care management processes.
• Set goals and monitor metrics to ensure quality and cost-effective outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state, NCQA standards; oversee staff caseloads.
• Provide vendor oversight and participate in audits.
• Present process improvements to senior leadership.
• Coordinate large projects with other departments.
• Oversee onboarding, training and staff competency.
• Develop department budget and staffing strategy.
