Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process, following the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking and leadership skills in planning for the safe delivery of patient care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and will manage patient care priorities in line with the available staff's education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment
• Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care

Required Experience

• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
• Registered Nurse licensure in California

Certifications/Licensure
