Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Columbus, OH to uphold quality patient care following the nursing care plan. You will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees while adhering to safety standards.

You will perform rapid assessments within 8 hours of admission, collaborate with families and interdisiplinary teams, document care accurately, and initiate discharge planning from day one. This 36-hour/week day shift role offers comprehensive health benefits and professional development

Qualifications

  • BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
  • ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH only).
  • Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.
  • PCU or stepdown experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission to guide care planning.
  • Collaborate with patient/family and interdisciplinary teams to address teaching needs.
  • Provide timely information for initial and weekly evaluation conferences.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record.
  • Participate in rehabilitation programs, prioritizing education based on health care needs.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to support continuity of care.
  • Supervise ancillary nursing personnel and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Ensure personal and environmental safety according to policies and procedures.
  • Support staff, patients, and families to enhance teamwork.
  • Maintain communication with management about service and equipment needs.
  • Assume charge responsibilities after orientation period.
  • Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.

The Registered Nurse (RN) upholds the delivery of quality patient care by adhering to the nursing care plan. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.

Schedule

This position requires 36 hours of work per week on a day shift schedule, specifically 3x12 hours.
