ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Florida on a day shift, two 12-hour shifts per week. The RN will supervise LPNs and CNAs, follow the care plan, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include early assessments, care planning, accurate documentation, discharge teaching, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. Requires BLS and ACLS if location-specific, plus at least two years of bedside experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (for specific locations).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis and collaborate with patient/family and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program using the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment and support team building activities.
• Assure personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assume charge responsibility as requested following the orientation period.

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed.
