Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking a Nurse House Supervisor for night shift to oversee nursing units, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and support the Director of Nursing.
You will lead nursing staff across shifts, coordinate admissions/discharges/transfers, monitor care quality, and participate in recruitment and onboarding to maintain a patient-centered, compliant environment.
This position is for night shift (11-7.30)
The House Supervisor maintains nursing unit goals and objectives and is responsible for the supervision of nursing unit(s). The House Supervisor ensures compliance of nursing practices, procedures, systems, and processes with company policy as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The House Supervisor coordinates programs and services under the direction and in consultation with the Director of Nursing (DON).
One year of nurse management / leadership experience preferred.
Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
Ability to lead diverse team of individuals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to make independent decisions and work without direct supervision.
Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel, and the public.
Must have thorough knowledge of current standards of nursing practice. Must be knowledgeable of computer systems and applications.
Excellent customer service focus.
