Job summary

RegalCare at Glen Ridge is seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to join our nursing leadership team. The Unit Manager will oversee daily operations on the assigned nursing unit, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise staff, participate in care plan meetings, monitor performance, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote high-quality outcomes in a supportive, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in New Jersey (required).
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or unit management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities on the assigned unit.
• Ensure residents receive quality, person-centered care per policies and regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and support.
• Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Oversee documentation, medication administration, and infection control standards.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care as needed.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff, residents, and families.
