East River Nursing and Rehab in Anderson, SC seeks an RN Unit Manager to oversee day-to-day resident care, supervise nursing staff, and report to the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality care. The role requires a current SC nursing license, CPR certification, and LTC experience.

You will ensure unit compliance with federal/state standards, collaborate with physicians, complete assessments, and manage care plans while delivering hands-on care when needed.

Formación

• Must have a valid SC nursing license in good standing.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least 1 year of long-term care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and oversee day-to-day patient care on the unit.
• Supervise, counsel and discipline nursing staff as needed.
• Report to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure unit compliance with federal and state standards and policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners to plan resident care.
• Complete admission and discharge assessments.
• Audit care plans, charting and medical forms.
• Deliver hands-on care and medicine distribution as needed.
• Identify issues and coordinate with leadership to resolve them.
• Evaluate and prioritize resident care needs on the unit.

Conocimientos

State nursing license in SC

CPR certification

LTC experience (1+ year)
