Brookdale Rosehill is seeking an LPN or RN Unit Manager to lead a skilled nursing unit and advocate for residents and families. The role emphasizes supervision, care plan development, and collaboration with physicians and the clinical services director.

Qualified candidates will have nursing school accreditation, RN licensure in good standing, and CPR/First Aid certification, with 1–3 years of nursing administration and at least 1 year in management preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Accredited Nursing School.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in nursing service administration with 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Current RN state nursing certification in good standing with no actions on nursing license.
• CPR and First Aid certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the identified unit.
• Assist the Director of Clinical Services in managing daily operations and developing resident care plans.
• Consult with residents' physician in planning and updating care plans; ensure interdisciplinary input.
• Conduct resident rounds to assess care, supervise nursing, and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Coordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary team and update documentation as needed.
• Participate in associate evaluations and disciplinary actions as required; ensure proper transition of nursing reports.
