Job summary

Brookdale seeks a healthcare operations leader to manage daily operations in our senior living community and ensure residents receive safe, dignified care across shifts.

Qualified candidates will have an LPN/LVN or RN license with 1–2 years of relevant experience and proven ability to supervise nursing staff and ensure medication training and audits are conducted per Brookdale guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Experience supervising nursing staff and care teams.
• Experience in medication training and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met.
• Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change.
• Ensures consistent quality resident care and service delivery throughout all shifts; may assume roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide as needed.
• Oversees supervision of licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provides ongoing training and manages schedules.
• Oversees and manages medication training, pharmacy management and supervision and/or administration; conducts audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
• Shares on-call duties as required.
• Education as required to obtain state nursing license and a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
• LPN or LVN license.
