Avardis Health is seeking a qualified Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead the nursing team at Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation in Floyd, VA. You will mentor staff, supervise clinical nurses and CNAs, and ensure high-quality resident care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership or administrative experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & support nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
• Direct patient care & treatment planning ensuring adherence to standards.
• Coordinate & manage staffing needs including hiring support.
• Monitor and ensure documentation compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Resolve resident & family concerns and safeguard resident rights.
• Assist in staff development and preceptor training.
• Drive quality improvement and implement innovative ideas.
