Job summary

Luxe Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Unit Manager to oversee nursing activities on the skilled unit, working closely with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality care for residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active Ohio nursing license and has supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing/LTC facility, with the ability to exercise discretion in unit operations and provide strong clinical leadership. Position is full-time and in-person with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing/LTC care facility.
• Active Nursing license in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing activities on the skilled unit and coordinate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Audit resident charts and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist new residents with transition to post-acute care and complete admission paperwork.
• Supervise, train, and discipline staff; foster positive interactions with residents and families.

The Unit Manager will perform duties directly related to the Facility's management and clinical policies to ensure quality care for the residents of the facility

The Unit Manager must demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment related to the general operations of the unit

Auditing Charts

Assisting new residents transition to post-acute care setting and ensuring completion of admission paperwork

Staff supervision, in-servicing, training, and discipline

Be able to interact positively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals

The position is responsible for the supervision of the nursing activities on the skilled unit, working closely with the Administrator and Director of Nursing. Qualified candidates must have a valid Ohio Nursing License. Required experience:

• Supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing/LTC care facility: 1 years
• Active Nursing license in the State of Ohio

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
