Job summary

Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking an RN/LPN to oversee clinical operations in our LifeWorks Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in Virginia. The role includes supervising nurses and CNAs, coordinating with physicians, and contributing to QI reporting.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday days with some weekends and on-call duties. Requirements include a Virginia RN/LPN license, 3–5 years in nursing (long-term care preferred), knowledge of LTC regulations, nursing management experience

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN/LPN license to practice.
• 3–5 years RN/LPN experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long-term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations of the unit and supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Interface with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up.
• Provide clinical expertise to staff as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care in daily operations.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care.

SALARY POSITION

The RN/LPN will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed. This unit provides care for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN/LPN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
