Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Medical Facilities Of America, Inc., is seeking an RN/LPN House Supervisor to lead the nursing department in the DON's absence at our 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Chesapeake.

You will review shift staffing, assign and replace staff, complete patient care rounds, coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, and help orient evening and night shift staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN with current state license.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

The RN/LPN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN/LPN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
