Morningside Center is seeking a compassionate RN/LPN to join our team in delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health, supervising CNAs, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans, while maintaining compliance with regulations and ensuring resident safety.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Missouri or active LPN license with ability to pursue RN
• ADN or BSN in nursing from an accredited program
• Experience in long‑term care, geriatrics, or nursing home setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
• CPR/BLS certification (required or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and detail-orientedLicensed Practical Nurse(LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN)to join our team at Morningside Center. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, promote their overall well-being, and ensure a safe and healthy environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent clinical and communication skills and a strong commitment to geriatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report changes or concerns to physicians and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other care staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff.
