Athens Technical College is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Technical Certificate of Credit Program Coordinator/Instructor. The role oversees the program, coordinates in-facility test dates, and delivers clinical and classroom instruction in simulation and lab settings.

The position requires a current Georgia RN license, at least two years of RN experience including long-term care, and a course in teaching adults. A BLS certification is required, with a master’s degree preferred.

Formación

• Current and valid Georgia RN license.
• Two years nursing experience as an RN, at least one year in long-term care.
• Must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Two years teaching CNA programs is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing the CNA program in its entirety.
• Oversee in-facility test dates scheduled by the program.
• Teach in simulation and laboratory settings.
• Clinical and classroom instruction.
• Curriculum implementation and evaluation.
• Work with regulators to maintain full accreditation.
• Perform other work duties as assigned.
