Job summary

Twin Oaks Rehab is seeking a Facility Educator/Infection Prevention, a senior nursing role responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the facility's infection prevention and control program, and coordinating staff education and competency activities in line with state regulations and facility policies.

The role includes leading the program, conducting surveillance and investigations, supporting immunization and antibiotic stewardship, and delivering comprehensive staff

Qualifications

Must be an RN or LPN licensed in MA.
Experience in long-term care and infection prevention.
Knowledge of adult learning principles.
CIC certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Infection Prevention and Control Program ensuring regulatory compliance.
Conduct surveillance, audits, outbreak investigations, data analysis and quality improvement.
Oversee antibiotic stewardship and immunization programs.
Develop and deliver orientation, mandatory education, and competency validation.
