Responsibilities

• Collect data on infections (surveillance).
• Assist with implementation and compliance of Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan and TB Infection Control Plan.
• Ensure processes for surveillance, hand hygiene, disease monitoring, water management, standard and transmission-based precautions, outbreak control, immunizations, antibiotic stewardship, resident and employee health, and environmental sanitation.
