Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a 3 to 11p RN/LPN House Supervisor for our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The role involves overseeing the nursing department in the DON’s absence and ensuring appropriate staffing and patient care rounds.

Qualified candidates must be a licensed RN or LPN with at least 3 years of nursing experience, including acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department in the DON’s absence.
• Review staffing at shift change and assign/replace staff to meet patient care needs.

• Assist in orientation of evening and night shift employees; supervise and evaluate evening and night staff.

The RN/LPN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed LPN/RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
