Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator, an RN/LPN role, to partner with the Community Director to deliver exceptional, people-centered care in a supportive senior living environment.

The position leads the resident care team, oversees care programs, ensures compliance with state regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and company standards, while managing budgets and staffing. A dynamic, patient-focused leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• 4+ years healthcare management experience in senior living, retirement communities, or long-term care.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting residents with dementia.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnight coverage if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and create individualized service plans.
• Coordinate care including EHR and eMAR documentation.
• Monitor medication management and conduct reviews.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff regarding health concerns.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Resident Assistants and healthcare staff.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing staff training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Review, document, and follow up on incident reports.
• Manage healthcare department budgets, staffing schedules, and medical inventory.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for resident emergencies.
