Job summary

Coronado Care Center in Portales, NM is seeking LVN or RN nurses for full-time and part-time shifts. If you are compassionate and patient-focused, join our team to provide high-quality resident care and collaborate with the healthcare team.

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, competitive wages, benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k). Schedule: 6AM-6PM. Must be graduate of LVN/RN program or hold a multi-state license and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN or RN program in the state of practice or holds a multi-state license.
• Prefer two years of experience in long-term care; will consider new grads.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed; follow all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
