Job summary

Desert Springs Healthcare in Hobbs, NM is seeking compassionate LVN or RN staff for both full-time and part-time shifts. You will provide high-quality resident care in a safe setting, perform nursing assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The facility offers healthcare, dental, vision, PTO and a 401K plan. Shift times include 6AM-6PM, with flexible scheduling available and on-site work at 1701 N Turner St, Hobbs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN or RN program in the state of practice.
• Prefer two years of experience in long-term care, but will consider new grads.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
• Monitors assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and duties comply with state guidelines.
• Follows procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
