Westminster Village Inc. in Bloomington, IL seeks compassionate LPN or RN to provide direct resident care in a 96-bed skilled nursing center. Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, and thorough documentation of medical records.

The role offers full-time and part-time third shifts (11p-7:30a) plus a part-time first shift (11p-7:30a). Union eligibility for LPNs, competitive wages and shift differentials are included, with benefits and per-diem pickups for shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate in good standing of an accredited nursing program.
• Current and unencumbered license to practice in Illinois as LPN (RN also eligible).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; assist with infusion therapy, PICC lines, respiratory, wound care.
• Perform admissions, including assessments and documentation in residents' medical records.
• Contribute to care planning and maintain accuracy of care plans at reviews.
• Promote infection control measures per facility policy and regulations.
• Protect patient confidentiality in all communications and documentation.
• Assess residents including behavior, physical status, and response to medications.
• Assist physicians during examinations or treatments as needed.
• Respond to emergencies across the campus and perform other duties as assigned.
