Job summary

Saint Mary Home is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our dynamic nursing team. This part-time, day-shift role places you at the center of resident care, leading the interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident's needs are met and choices honored.

You will deliver safe, high-quality patient care, supervise nursing assistants on your unit, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff. A valid RN or LPN license in CT and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN or LPN licensure in CT.
• Recent clinical experience in long-term or acute care.
• Excellent observation and teamwork skills are required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

What to expect as a Nurse at Saint Mary Home

A Nurse at Saint Mary’s Home is an active participant in care and leads the interdisciplinary care team to assure that individual resident’s needs are met, and choices honored. The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality patient care and is also a member of a designated care team and collaborates with team members in achieving goals. The Charge Nurse directs and supervises the care provided by nursing assistants assigned to his/her unit.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

1. Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

2. Current licensure as a RN or LPN in the State of CT.

3. Recent clinical experience in either long-term care, acute care.

4. Excellent skilled observation and teamwork skills are required.

5. Current CPR certification is required.
