Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents in a senior care setting. You will perform assessments, plans and evaluations in collaboration with residents, families, and the care team.

The role focuses on coordinating care, education, and delivering high-quality nursing interventions. Active RN license is required; a bachelor’s in nursing is preferred and experience in geriatric or long-term care is valued.

Qualifications

• RN license required at time of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and ongoing nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
