Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for 12-hour day shifts in Albion, NE. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident care in collaboration with families and the health-care team.

Responsibilities include coordinating care across disciplines, education of residents, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards. A Bachelor’s in Nursing and an active RN license are preferred and a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
